The Basic Principle of Waldorf Education

The foundation of Rudolf Steiner's educational pedagogy (Waldorf education) is grounded in the possibility that teachers are able to exercise their sovereign judgment in respect of the needs of the children in their care. For this to be possible a school structure is needed which puts the teachers in the driving seat with regard to questions of day-to-day management, curriculum and funding.
