The three Rs - the Waldorf way

The first Waldorf school was founded by Dr Rudolf Steiner in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1919, to develop the "whole child" by creatively stimulating "head, heart and hands".

Goetheanum in Dornach Switzerland

The Goetheanum is not only the center for the General Anthroposophical Society and the School for Spiriutal Science. It is also the international center for speech and art. 150,000 people from all over the world visit the Goethenaum each year. In addition to numerous special evetns, colloquia and study courses, between 120 to 150 conference take place at the Goetheanum every year.

Constructed between 1925 and 1928, the second Goetheanum building was the first large-scale building to employ reinforced concrete for sculptural forms.
