Skeps are not often used for hives these days, but they are wonderful containers for collecting a swarm. The Natural Beekeeping Trust is offering two dates for a whole day master class in skep making with expert Martin Newton Venue: Ashurst Wood. Cost: £45 (to include materials, refreshments and a simple lunch)
