This workshop will be an intensive exploration of Rudolf Steiner’s relationship to modern economic life. Christopher Houghton Budd, a British economic historian with a doctorate in banking and international finance, has a life-long interest in bridging between Rudolf Steiner’s work and current economic thinking. He is a member of the Anthroposophical Society and of the School of Spiritual Science, in which capacity he is a founding participant in the Economics Conference of the Goetheanum. Along the way he has written many articles and books that chart his journey. Of particular relevance to this event are An Economic Testament, The Metamorphosis of Capitalism, Of Wheat and Gold, and Auditorial Central Banking, available online from cfae.biz/publications or at the event.
