Air Beneath Our Wings

Initiative + Capital = Realised Ideals

Saturday, 7th March 2009

Adelaide, South Australia
One-day workshop with economic and monetary historian Christopher Houghton Budd for young people offering a lively and practical introduction to the world of money and its importance in modern life.

Rudolf Steiner drew attention to the importance of young people discovering their ideals in youth and realising them before their 28th year, because the  ideals contain ‘information’ about their destiny and life on which one can set one’s compass. This, rather than entering a world of mortgage debt and often-
  arbitrary career choices.

Easily said, of course, but not so easily achieved without the corresponding finance. But how? Exploring themes from his allegorical book, Rare Albion, the workshop will link the worlds of ‘high’ finance, credit crises, initiative, and purpose in life.
