The First Professorship in Bio-Dynamic Farming in Europe
During the 8th Science Conference on Ecological Farming at the beginning of March 2005 at the University of Kassel-Witzenhausen, the Dutch researcher Dr Ton Baars responded to the request to take up the Stiftung Chair for Bio-Dynamic Agriculture in Witzenhausen. Baars has comprehensive experience in bio-dynamic practice and teaching, amongst other places at Warmonderhof and recently since 1994 in the realm of animal husbandry at the Louis Bolk Institute, Driebergen. The Chair, a commitment of initially of six years, already commences in the summer term.
